BUSIN Insurance Company stands among Ukraine’s most established and reputable insurance providers, maintaining a leading position in aviation insurance since 1993. Thanks to its many years of expertise, innovative approach, and deep understanding of market specifics, the company holds a unique position among Ukrainian insurers. BUSIN was the first to introduce reinsurance programs for the aviation sector, currently providing reliable coverage for over 150 aircraft and helicopters. The high level of trust from international partners and clients, as well as a stable market presence for more than three decades, confirm the company’s leadership and its ability to respond effectively to the most complex challenges of our time.
The total capacity of the reinsurance program for 2025–2026 amounts to USD 550 million for aviation liability risks. The obligatory aviation hull reinsurance contract has also been renewed, with a capacity of USD 6 million. The program includes coverage for war and related risks, which is especially relevant in today’s geopolitical environment.
The contract involves leading global reinsurers and Lloyd’s syndicates with the highest financial strength ratings (A-/A/A+), ensuring the fulfillment of obligations to clients under any circumstances. The program’s flexible terms also extend to retrocession risks, providing high-quality service and tailored solutions for partners in inward reinsurance.
“The renewal of our obligatory reinsurance program for 2025–2026 is not only a confirmation of the stability and reliability of BUSIN, but also evidence of trust from leading international partners. We continue to provide Ukraine’s aviation sector with insurance solutions even in challenging conditions, guaranteeing our clients confidence in the future. The high ratings of reinsurers, the uniqueness of coverage, and the ability to protect against war risks are the result of our team’s coordinated work and the company’s strategic vision. We are proud to make a significant contribution to the support and future recovery of Ukraine’s civil aviation,” emphasized BUSIN’s Chairman of the Board Oleksandr Nepochatov.
